RULES
The following are the terms and conditions for Empire magazine’s “Jameson Empire Awards Vote” UK competition (“JEA Vote”). Entry to JEA Vote (and, if applicable, your eligibility to win it) is conditional upon your compliance with these terms and conditions (which will be referred to as, the “Rules”).
JEA Vote is promoted by Bauer Consumer Media Limited t/a Empire (“Empire”) registered office: 1 Lincoln Court, Lincoln Road, Peterborough, PE1 2FR (registered company no. 01394141).
HOW TO ENTER
Entrants must submit their votes for the Jameson Empire Awards 2016 at www.empireonline.co.uk/awards. When you enter, you will also be asked to complete an entry form setting out your name, age, contact details and residential address in the UK. · Start date for entries: 26 November 2016 09:00
· Closing date for entries: 14 March 2016 12:00
Entries received before the start date or after the closing date (for whatever reason) will be invalid.
The winner will be notified by email on Tuesday 15 March.
ENTRANT RESTRICTIONS
Entrants must be over 18 at the date of entry.
Entrants must be a UK resident living in the UK full-time at the time of entry.
Entrants must not be employees (of Empire or Jameson or their associated companies), family members of employees (of Empire or Jameson or their associated companies) or otherwise professionally connected to this competition.
THE PRIZE
The Winner plus 1 guest (who must be over 18) will be invited to attend the Jameson Empire Awards on Sunday 20 March 2016 in Central London.
The prize does not include:
· spending money;
· food and drink (other than as set out above);
· accommodation
· travel; or
· insurance; all of which are the responsibility of the UK Winner and their guest. Jameson and Empire shall have no responsibility if persons are unable to attend the Awards Event for any reason.
No cash alternative to the prize is available (even if the persons are unable to attend the Awards Event). The Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Empire is responsible for the hosting, arranging and organising of the Awards Event, all other aspects of the prize are provided by (and are the responsibility of) Jameson.
These Rules are governed English law and the English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise in connection with it.
